Inside / Outside Sales Rep:
The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for supporting walk-in customers with new equipment rentals and rental returns, as well as handling incoming phone inquiries and equipment rentals. The position may require driving a company vehicle to perform the odd small equipment delivery or outside sales call. A valid class 5 drivers license is required as well as a clean driver's abstract.
This position is considered to be an integral part of the Company’s front line of contact with our customers. You should be comfortable with making cold calls as this will be required during quiet days on the rental counter.
The role also requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
- High School diploma is required, Post Secondary or Trade School is preferred
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools and equipment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may possess:
- Tools and Equipment
- Good customer service and phone skills
- Organized and detail oriented, with ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Maintain an understanding of all company’s products and services
- Work closely with all departments to ensure consistent communications
- Previous rental industry experience and/or equipment use or maintenance skills.
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive Attitude A Must!
- You are comfortable working with tools
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching and/or lifting 50 pounds or more.
A Clean Driver's abstract is a requirement as you would be required to drive a company vehicle.

The Yardman/Driver position is responsible for supporting walk-in customers with rental returns, performing deliveries and pick-ups of all types of construction equipment and performing check-ins of equipment as well as minor repairs of tools and equipment.
This position is considered to be an integral part of the Company’s front line of contact with our customers. Your duties are split between making deliveries and pick-ups of tools and equipment from various job sites within the GVRD to working within our Burnaby facility dealing with customers who are dropping off equipment and performing equipment check-ins and minor repairs.
The role also requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
